HOW THE EVENT WILL WORK

📌"What's for Dinner?": The Summit will run from February 26-28, 2024 with 5-7 presentations running each day starting at scheduled times throughout the day.

All speakers are asked to provide a self created pre-recorded presentation. Presentations will include 15-17 minutes of content (with up to a 3-minute freebie (or paid product) pitch tacked on to the end).

Many of you are super comfortable in front of the camera showing off your skills, teaching your subscribers & getting to know your community. And, I want to embrace this when it comes to the format you choose for your pre-recorded "presentation."

Your presentation could include any of the following formats:

✅Slideshow Presentation

✅Cooking Demonstration

✅Combo Slideshow + Cooking Demo

✅Instructional video

✅Workshop

If you have a printable that goes along with your presentation (e.g. checklist, grocery list, recipe, etc.) please include this with your presentation submission & I will provide access to it on the presentation page the day of your presentation.


📌While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, all speakers are asked to attend their presentation time live to interact with attendees in the chatbox. All you need to do is pop in during your scheduled time & interact with the attendees in the chat box. There is no video component to the live chat. (So, you could chat away in pjs!)


📌Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’re welcome to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.


📌Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.


📌During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS. This ALL INCLUSIVE PASS will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list. Yay!

The ALL INCLUSIVE PASS includes all of the following:

WHAT I'LL ASK OF YOU

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it!

1. BASIC INFORMATION

The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Speaker page.

This information includes:

✅Name

✅Title

✅Bio

✅Square Headshot


Once you give me the 👍thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.


2. PRESENTATION

Next up is your presentation! 🙌 This is a 15-17 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

🎯Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something. Remember: we're going for that "Man, I can totally do this!" & "Oooooo, that looks amazing (and easy!)...I'm gonna try that tonight!".


Again, your "presentation" could include any of the following formats:

✅Slideshow Presentation

✅Cooking Demonstration

No matter what format you choose, please note that you are absolutely free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content.

Here’s the suggested flow:

✅Quick Introduction

✅Where people go wrong with your topic & tend to overcomplicate it

✅Teaching Section

✅Specific Action Steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)

✅Up to a 3 minute freebie pitch

✅Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement (plus, remember: you'll be live in the chatbox to engage with them as they answer!)

📌NOTE: After your 15-17 minute presentation / workshop / demo, you're welcome to pitch just about anything you'd like! The goal is to get them to see the connection between your presentation & the thing you're asking them sign up for next. So, just make sure the thing you're pitching is truly related to the topic you just spoke about. If they don't see the connection, then the conversion rate won't be as high for you. 🎯PRESENTATION DUE DATE: DECEMBER 8, 2023.

The presentations are being requested BEFORE the December holiday season. I understand that many of you have vacation, family commitments, launches, and many other things happening towards the end of December & the first of January. I totally get it!

February 26th (the first day of the Summit!) may seem like a long way off, but trust me....it's right around the corner. Plus, I do need plenty of time to make sure all the back-end magic makes the Summit go off without a hitch!

If you have a conflict for this due date--please reach out to me! I'll bend over backwards to accommodate you.

Sidenote: If you’d like to go with the interview-style presentation, schedule a time with me to do that via email: admin@freakingdelish.com. We’ll work together to come up with questions that highlight your unique skills, offerings & flavor!

3. "ALL INCLUSIVE PASS" CONTRIBUTION

The ALL INCLUSIVE PASS will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running.

The All Inclusive Pass is a paid product filled with presenter bonuses, extended presentation viewing, private podcast access for listening on the go & MORE!

To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS.

This includes things like:

✅eBooks

✅Workbooks

✅Courses (big or small)

✅1 Month Memberships

✅Templates

✅Discount Codes (or % Off Offers) **The only codes allowed are those created specifically for What's For Dinner?": The Summit & are NOT available on any other platform, to any other groups, or accessible through any other avenue during the promo period, during the summit, or the 3 months following the Summit. Basically, if they can find this code (or similarly valued code) by doing a simple search or following you, then it loses its value. The goal is to boost the value of this product, as we are selling it!

📌Note: I expect this to convert well so I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

📌We cannot accept freebies that you use for lead generation on your website or other already accessible site. Basically, if anyone can go snag this for free, then that's not what to include as your speaker bonus in the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS.

📌It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

📌Anyone who contributes a premium resource will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales of the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS (40% to non-contributors). Plus, this is also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer. That's loads more people coming into your funnel.

🎯Information for these resources is due on DECEMBER 8th.

You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

Attendees will be able to start claiming your bonus right when registration opens on February 8, 2024.

4. SOUVENIR RECIPE BOOK

A collaborative piece of the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS is the "Souvenir Recipe Book."

📌Please note: Every presenter is expected to contribute to the Souvenir Recipe Book whether you decide to contribute a "Presenter Bonus" to the All Inclusive Pass or not. The "Presenter Bonus" is a wholly separate element.

As I mentioned above, I want to take our attendees on a mini-vacay from the daily dinner drama with this Summit. I want them to walk away from the Summit feeling like they were exposed to new flavors, ways of cooking, meal prep ideas & SO MUCH MORE! I want them to feel refreshed & jazzed about trying out some of the things they learned at the Summit.

Honestly, I want this to be an uplifting, inspiring & feel-good event where our biggest goal is to help these families start cooking at home....but, they need some inspo!

🎯And, I want to give them a little collaborative souvenir from their vacay in the form of a Recipe eBook. Being the foodies that we are, I'm sure you can relate to coming home from vacation & wanting to try cooking that amazing dish you had while on your trip.

Well, that's exactly why I want to give them something to keep that inspiration going long after the Summit is over & what better way to do that than with our bread & butter: RECIPES!

What I'll need from you:

✅ Word or Google Doc & image of a stand out recipe that would be perfect for our attendees (from your website, featured on social media, etc.). It doesn't have to be unique to this event.

✅This recipe should check ALL of these boxes: easy, quick, doable on a super busy weeknight, family friendly & ingredients are easily accessible.

I'll compile all the recipes into a digital download for the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS & add links, headshot, & logos to each recipe. That way, the attendees can easily refer back to the creator of their new favorite dish!

5. PROMOTION

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

I want to create as much excitement around this unique event as possible & I know we can have an amazing turnout!

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and/or to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on FEBRUARY 12, 2024 & during the actual Summit FEBRUARY 26-28th.

🎯You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any ALL INCLUSIVE PASS sales (50% if you've contributed a presenter bonus).

⭐All I ask is that you play to your strengths:

✅If you have an email list - email them at least 3 times during the promo & Summit event period.

✅If you have a following on a social media platform - Share registration info (& plug the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS value!) as often as possible. TikTok creators can add a link on your LinkTree (or other) so followers can click through easily. YouTubers can add links where possible, too! *Contact me if you'd like me to pop into your FB Group live (or similar) & do a little promo together! Just email me at admin@freakingdelish.com.

✅Bloggers can create a pop-up or Hello Bar on your website that links to the Summit registration page.

Podcasters can include promos & ad links for the Summit in the show notes for any/all of their episodes. *Please contact me if you want me to schedule a time to chat about the Summit & tell your listeners all about the event. I'm here to help:)

PLEASE NOTE: Because we have such a diverse community of presenters & each has their own web of followers -- there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to PROMO.

The only thing I know for sure is that the more we ALL talk, post, mention, & link to the event & the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS--the more successful this event will be at all levels.

So, promote, promote, promote!

NOTE: As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

6. EVENT PARTICIPATION 

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since the work of creating the presentations and extra resources will be complete, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

That said, you'll have three opportunities to get involved during the week of the Summit:

✅Live in the chatbox on the presentation page during your scheduled presentation time.

✅Live in the Facebook Group to answer questions, or even for a little FB Live chat with attendees for a few minutes during the Summit.

Social events in the Facebook Group will be planned out as we get closer to the Summit & we may also add bonus "roundtable" style lives to include the speakers, giveaways & other "party" style games. I'll keep you posted on this as the events are added.

AFFILIATE DETAILS

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?


That’s exactly why I’ve set up an
affiliate program for the
ALL INCLUSIVE PASS where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer. Payouts will be made by MARCH 15, 2024, which will allow for an additional week of plugging the ALL INCLUSIVE PASS for any folks who missed out & have FOMO!

📌The commission structure is as follows:

✅40% for all speakers

✅50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus 

📌The pricing structure will be:

"Fast Action" purchasers (within 15 minutes after initial registration)

"Early Bird" purchasers who buy anytime during the promotion period but after the "15 minute Fast Action" window. I'm going to leave this window open starting February 8, 2024 - February 25, 2024 (any time before Day 1 of the Summit).

"Standard" All Inclusive Pass rate starting Day 1 of the Summit (February 26, 2024 until the doors close on the offer, which will be March 8, 2024). This will give affiliates time to promote the All Inclusive Pass to followers & subscribers who missed out & still want the pass!

📌To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.

NOTE: As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
